Is there any volatility indicator for forex markets similar to the
    one VIX for S&P.

    Thanks. :)

  2. my guess is no...maybe the USD Index?

USDX has absolutely nothing to do with volatility.

  4. The VIX is an *implied* volatility measure. i.e. forward-looking volatility. The closest you'll come to that for forex is to maybe look at currency futures options.

  5. yes there is.

    CVIX Index in Bloomberg.

    Deutsche Bank FX Volatility Index

  6. Risk rate reversals are great for medium term FX trades, l sometimes do them in a 1:500 leveraged retail account

P.S. Only trade more than 1:4 leverage on money you are prepared to lose
