You just are not able to understand that nobody in the industry does it that way and that there is a good reason for it.
You have a reading comprehension problem. My emphasis should help. 1. The OP's question wasn't whether the industry does it. 2. Regardless, I never spoke as to what the industry does or doesn't do. You see, I simply answer the questions as asked on message boards. I try not to assume that I know what the OP should instead be asking. Nine times out of ten, I don't give af why they're asking it. If they want an opinion as to what question they should be asking; or what I think about their question ... they're adults ... they'll ask for that opinion instead of what they did ask. Or, you could be proactive--if it means so much to you--and say, to the effect of--if not in these exact words:"HEY OP! JUST BY YOUR QUESTION, I KNOW YOU'RE CLUELESS! HIT ME UP IF YOU WANT THE REAL ANSWERS TO LIFE!" Say that to the OP, not to people who've answered the question as asked. Thanks.
@ThomasB Ok, I think I see the problem: You're new here ... and you want to establish your pecking order ... because you're an industry guru. You want to shine. You're dripping in knowledge. How am I doing so far? Ok, go 'head boss; further hijack this thread and tell us all about your industry genius.
