@VLQ and VOLQ: New Nasdaq Vol Instruments

@VLQ and VOLQ were supposedly up for trading Monday.

Can't see it in Tradestation yet. Anyone looking into these yet?

i found it it's $VOLQ and it's plotting, you're welcomed.

@VLQ still gives "incorrect symbol" when I try to chart it ...

 

yea same here...

 

@VLQ20 now gives me "Account not enabled for, so likely that symbol works ... TS support said they expected it would take some time before any volume builds up there. Has some potential I think.

Might give that one a try.

The Head will surely roll.

There are lots of products with virtually zero volume.
Lots of MSCI indices have zero volume.

 

At 50 bux per tick, with higher margin requirement than the NQ? Nobody is going to mess with it. Stupid specs. They reached for the moon and will now lose out.
