vix spike = temp bottom

  1. When I see higher highs and higher lows I will buy pullbacks until then the bear is strong.

  6. VIX here VIX there. Too many sheep watching it and waiting for a bell to be rung as a buy signal, it's been all over the news for weeks. Waste of time.

  7. when did the indymac story first break on the news? not rumors, but when it was first officially announced that fdic is step in. Was it after the closing on 7/11 or before? The afterhour trading of 7/11 didnt seem to be affected by the news

    I don't think that was the point he was trying to make....The point was a bottom could happen without VIX spiking up 20 points. In fact, if everyone is waiting for it to spike, theres a good possibility they are already in cash, which is bullish
