VIX Options Settlement

    Hi,

    I'm not sure if someone already talked about this or not. I have not done a search on this topic. If there is a thread on this subject, I apolgize.

    But, can someone explain to me how VIX options are settled?

    Let's say I'm long the Dec $25 Call and it settles ITM. The VIX closes at $26.00

    Settles in cash...you profit $1 minus premium
