Look for a vix mark up for this mornings settlement. A lot of buyers of SPX Feb options on the opening.
The monthly vix settlement price is based on the opening price of the Feb SPX options. I was just posting prior to the opening that there were large buyers of the these options which would put upward pressure on the vix settlement price. Was meant to be an FYI before the opening to anyone trading these products.
