VIX gaps...

One thing is for sure :

these gaps will be filled - but when ?

 

Were they "filled" during the overnight session when data isn't available?

Some old gaps closed, some new open....

 

I think my vxx position fell into one of those gaps.

 

Yup gaps sure are.

 

Am trying to get my head around volatility and its effects on options...
Would now be a good time to go long, maybe 18 or 20 calls on VIX??
If not, which options plays would be best of take advantage of the VIX low level??
I noticed last night it's at a historically? low point??
