here's yer boy again. what a pair. ALEX JONES (FULL SHOW) Tuesday 8/18/20 Dr. Joseph Mercola, https://www.bitchute.com/video/64vveluA5H7f/ vit d topic. imagine that.
Actually, what it means is that excess D will not flush out of your system. It will adsorb into your fat tissues. So moderate your intake. Vitamin C is water-soluble, which means you cannot OD on it. Vitamin D, you can. But if you do? At least you will not develop rickets, hehe.
Taking 60,000 international units (IU) a day of vitamin D for several months has been shown to cause toxicity. This level is many times higher than the U.S. Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for most adults of 600 IU of vitamin D a day. https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-...xpert-answers/vitamin-d-toxicity/faq-20058108
Some docs recommend such high doses "for a while" to elevate serum D.That's very individual specific. Apparently some people can take 1000 IU and raise their serum level by 20ng. Others can take 10,000 and their serum barely budges. You can't tell where you fit into this spectrum without testing. Dr. John Campbell has a couple of videos on Vitamin D... notes "overall reduction in mortality from all disease as D level increases... 50-60ng is a good target range with slower decrease in mortality as D level goes to 80+..." Toxicity level? Some claim even 200+ is not toxic.
The objective for taking high D dose is to get serum level up. Some peoples' systems are remarkably resistant to responding. Side note... one Doc did a video during all the Covid hospitalizations... said, "every one of my patients admitted for Covid were low in D".
