I agree with you that most people bashing Vista have probably never really used it. I havent for example, but I have see it in action and as usual with Microsoft you need a strong computer (CPU, Memory..) to make it run smoothly... otherwise its clever to have XP I was going to buy a laptop, it was nearly impossible to get XP on it... and I knew I will have to buy the top range laptop to get VISTA work good... so instead of doing this I made a test as I never used a MAC before... I bought a superb Macbook 13, I got a better OS : Leopard (Vista is visually closer to mac past OS Tiger) and I have a great design/user friendly interface My macbook 13 (not even a pro version) is running better than my old laptop with XP (PC with dual processor with 2 GB ram...) and with 90% less bugs so no way I switch to VISTA
