Here is instructions on installing Vista on a new machine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54ypt_FzRAk
"Forbes" new issue has a scathing article about Vista (page 50 of the Feb 26th issue). The article basically does everything short of calling Vista a steaming pile of shit. Here is the closing paragraph to the article.... "As Bill Gates winds down his roles at Microsoft, Windows Vista may be the chief software architect's swan song. It's a shame his legacy is something so utterly unimaginative, internally discordant and woefully out of tune." Ouch
so far i haven't heard/read even ONE real positive review of vista ANYWHERE. pc magazine, cnet, user forums - they're all either dissing it or saying something along the lines of 'you could upgrade if you have nothing better to do with your life'. i am skipping vista and i'll upgrade to the next OS that comes out. by then i'll probably upgrade my hardware as well so it will make sense.
Spot on You win the coconut A week after the launch and they have the CHEEK to try and sell us an upgrade Doubtlessly there will be a whole string of up-grades none of which quite plug all the holes. !!!!!!!!! Gouging the customer is what I call it. Take a long holiday Bill - Join a monastery or something ???
