Just returned from voting. It is raining and chilly here in McLean, VA, which will probably depress turnout and hurt Youngkin. Polls at 2 PM were medium busy. I didn't have to wait in line for a long time but plenty of people were moving in and out.
Yep, the lack of any reports of strong turnout so far is making me twitchy, but then again it would make a Youngkin victory all the sweeter should it go that way.
Dems are taking a beating either way. It was not supposed to be like this and it is a bad omen for them. But if they win, well I give them that. I have achieved my lowered-goal which was to at least see them sweat. That, we have seen. Some frosting on the cake would be GREAT though.

Going to be down to the wire and media is loving the fact they can spend the next 5 hours covering this to death!
I have not heard a peep all day, just based on headline scans and the first paragraph, anything about vigorous voting in person at a level that might bode well for pubs. That could just be a reporting thing, I don't know. I am not used to elections that are so off-cycle that there is no noise and buzz and squack to go with them "whlle the trading floor is still open" so to speak.
