Vietnam Veterans Against McCain: Charges of Treason Made By Fellow U.S. Veterans

  1. I'm Jewish, you dumbass. The last thing you should bring up to me is Sarah Palin's Christianity and her radical Christianity, at that.

You are a perfect metaphor as to why the GOP will lose every branch of government (yes, the Judicial Branch, too, as we all know that judges are political beasts).

Chris Matthews, who was gushing like a schoolgirl over Bush 4 years ago, had that SBVFT prick John O'Neil on his show and let him tell lie after lie unchallenged about Kerry. Among the whoppers was his oft-repeated lie that if Kerry had been in Cambodia as he claimed, it would have been illegal and Kerry would have been court-martialed. This "interview" took place AFTER a tape from the Nixon Library exposed that O'Neil himself had bragged directly to Nixon about being in Cambodia (when it supposedly was still "illegal") and Nixon made nothing but approval responses.

So the real news about the swiftboat liars was out there, the MSM just chose to ignore it, but not to ignore their false claims about Kerry.

Btw the way, AAA: all but one of the vets who actually served with Kerry said he deserved his medals. Kerry was a genuine hero who got maligned by an honorless sack of liars.

I've posted about McCain on the main thread topic before:

  3. You're wasting your time with anyone who can't be objective, regardless of their party affiliation.

The Kool Aid crowd either participated or silently stood by when Kerry was Swift Boated.

Any fair person would say, "[H]ey, you're right. There's a double standard here. Some vets slammed Kerry, and received a lot of media coverage, while those slamming McCain have received absolutely none."

  4. If you take that dick out of your ass for just one second, you would realize that your are part of the Kool-Aid crowd.

  5. Perhaps the media is too busy investigating the last 25 years of Sara Palin's life and her husband's to get into it right now. I'm sure if the election is close, they will be willing to air any charge, no matter how absurd, against McCain.

As for Kerry, the vast majority of the guys in his unit had a problem with him. The guys on his boat did tend to support him. His problems were twofold. First, he put himself up for medals in dubious circumstances. His own commander thought it was BS. Plenty of guys would have been embarrassed to claim a Purple Heart for a scratch. The other thing was what he did after he got himself transferred Stateside. Basically, he backstabbed guys who were still under fire. He came across as a weasel and still does.

If people who were POWs with McCain or flew with him have something derogatory to say, I'm pretty sure the media will air it.

  6. That's a red herring, and you're smart enough to realize it.

You have two, almost identical (if not exactly identical) set of circumstances: Candidates for the POTUS are being accused of specific acts by fellow veterans, some who did and some who did not serve alongside the candidate.

In one election cycle, the mainstream media covered the allegations of these veterans. In the latter, they did not.

    It's as simple as that.
