Pure traders may not like Bogle, as he obviously believes indexing with a no load, extremely cost-efficient fund is the only way to touch equity markets, but no one can credibly claim that he's nothing less than triple sharp, extremely honest, and that he's absolutely not a hypocrite. He pretty much reformed what was an incredibly inefficient, corrupt and bloated fund industry all on his own when set up Vanguard.
