this kid isnt in the middle of an african famine. he took his money and gambled it away. that's not misery to sympathize for, that's a life lesson of arrogance. any misery he suffers is his own doing.
Been there , I know how he feels. So I cannot make fun of him, brings up some bad memories, but I have learnded from those mistakes hopefully he will have enough left in the game to learn as well!
My friend was down $3000 and he had started trading with a 10 K lucky he was already UP $1500 up to date
Also not laughing. I do see the deer in the headlights analogy here. Just sitting...watching...been there.
No one said he was or wasn't arrogant. Evidently he wasn't careful, risking far more than he could comfortably lose. So what? Does that mean people should laugh when someone gets mowed down by a garbage truck just because he didn't look both ways before crossing the street? I think some people here should try to do a better job of containing their glee. At least for appearances.
Misery ? or lack of discipline, being overleveraged and not USING A DAMN STOP? I suppose only the ones who have been there and have used the experience to learn about this business are allowed to laugh about it.... It's just money... If he is any good someday in a few years he might be at the other end of the trade.... Like in the Matrix, everybody falls the first (k) times...
How did this guy not stop out his position in his last video posted two hours earlier when he was down 7500$ and his own fucking computer program was telling him to sell. That's some pretty terrible trading. Loosing money is one thing, but ignoring your own stops in a situation like this is just lunacy. New traders, watch this video and observe what not to do. I feel sorry for this guy loosing his money, but if this is how he did things it was just a matter of time. Still funny in a very sad way though.
humor? you don't think that all the traders on the other side of his trade aren't laughing it up thinking, "gee I am glad I finally started using a stop." He'll get over it.
See my post just preceding yours. As for having been there, I lost a fair amount of my trading capital a number of years back and I remember what a miserable experience it was for me. No laughter then, and no laughter now. If you had been there, I would have thought you'd at least have a bit of empathy.
