He reached the dangerous "fuck it" time period where he justifies in his mind that he would rather stay in and lose it all with the hope of minimizing his loss as opposed to taking a 20,000 loss right now and having no hope. I've done that myself in the past but will never EVER do it again. Every dollar you lose during that fuck it period is a difficult dollar to make back. You're better off giving that money to charity, at least you'll feel better about yourself.
he lost his confidence, the confidence that he can make it back another day. if u think ur good (luck is only a small part over a long period of time in this game), there is no reason for u not to make it back in the near future.
Man on his blog he posts a panic posting when he was down $7k. I bet that negative $7k looks really good now compared to -$31k....
His saving grace seems to be that he is young, probably single and has a job. Very much unlike a friend I know who almost blew out last week after about 10 yrs successful trading, a family and no other income.
