Good Luck volente_00 Mark my words, you'll be back one day stronger and smarter than ever. I know that sounds crazy right now but it's true. You've lost a battle but you haven't lost the war. Don't ever stop learning, don't ever stop trading, don't ever quit. This is just a minor flesh wound. You're not dead are you? So isn't not so bad. As we learned from Bluto in Animal House. D-Day: War's over, man. Wormer dropped the big one. Bluto: Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! Otter: Germans? Boon: Forget it, he's rolling. Bluto: And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the goin' gets tough... [thinks hard] Bluto: the tough get goin'! Who's with me? Let's go! [runs out, alone; then returns] Bluto: What the fuck happened to the Delta I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh? "Ooh, we're afraid to go with you Bluto, we might get in trouble." Well just kiss my ass from now on! Not me! I'm not gonna take this. Wormer, he's a dead man! Marmalard, dead! Niedermeyer... Otter: Dead! Bluto's right. Psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part. Bluto: We're just the guys to do it. D-Day: Let's do it. Bluto: LET'S DO IT!
the fact he got that emotional tells me he's either a noob or just not fit for trading. how many times do you have you read that the the most successful traders are unemotional and practice sound risk-management?
why do people trade without a stop? I use software that doesn't allow me to place a trade without one, so I guess I have been lucky. But I just cannot figure it out.
I thought we'd established that this guy was sim trading from looking at his screen shots. I'm wondering why that would spawn a 26 pager on ET.... Also, can someone help me with "handles?" I've heard/read the lingo several times ("I was up 3 handles..."). what does that mean? Thanks
