Anyone here know if I can use this card, RADEON® X800 PRO PCIE 256MB, with my current card a ATI Radeon 128MB DDR? My system is a Dell 8300 P4 2.6 with 512 RAM. Looking to add monitors and I found a deal on this one.
    Thanks

The Radeon driver is universal, so that won't be a problem. If the cards fit your systemboard slots, you're in business.

When you mention fit, do you mean an open pci, or some other spec I need to check?
    Thank you

Something like that. I don't know what type of cards both of those are. Are they different or the same? For example, if both are AGP, they couldn't work together because there is only one AGP slot on the board.

If your current card/board is AGP, then you cannot use them together as there won't be a PCIe slot. You'll have to add monitors via PCI slots(s).

Addendu.... sorry, I didn't read completely. You CANNOT use the PCIe card... no slot. I too, have an 8300. You'll have to add with PCI cards.
