Video card question

  1. Does anyone know what the best video card or cards to use to set up 3 digital monitors at 1600 x 1200 on one pc? 1280 x 1024 is the standard for lcd's but I need higher res. My monitors do support it.

Just about all the modern cards support UXGA (1600 x 1200). The big players today in dual/quad head cards are Matrox, nVidia, ATI, and Appian. All of them have a solution... Appian is the most expensive, ATI, the least. (I use cheap ATI analogs and have for years. If you want info on my setup, PM me.)

Best Advice... All of your cards should be from the same mfgr to avoid potentially *nightmarish* video driver conflicts. (Yes, some can be mixed and work just fine, but not all. Be SURE before you install drivers.)

I don't know if it's the best, however it's reasonably priced and it performs without problems in my system: matrox p750.
