Video Card Plan Fails

  1. I ended up installing two Nvidia 290 PCIe x290s. Working fine. Quiet, no fan noise. In fact, never had a computer this quiet.

That fan noise I had was just with the Nvidia 440. Not sure what that was all about...whether the card caused a fan to come on, or it was something to do with the card.

I've had this 3400 open so many times you'd think I could answer the question on the fans. But I didn't notice. LOL.

Here are details of latest build..........did not go "ALL OUT" on this one because in next couple of years the goodies will make this box a dog. But for now it worked out fine and i wanted to have first experience doing water cooling.

Did overkill on the water cooling fans, wanted to do 3 PUSHING into the radiator and 3 PULLING out. All 8 fans are super QUIET because i dropped the speeds down to 600RPM. NO other fans are in this box. Details =
