I have been doing some video blogging, right off my desktop set up with a Microsoft cam. But, I need to step it up and do some wider video shots and make more interesting videos. What types of cameras and video editing software make good combos. I have a kodak zi8 with separate sony mic. It has done a decent job on my first video. I have a Canon T1i it takes video but the sound is not good enough so I would have to buy a new body. I have a great efs wide angle lens... but I have no idea which lenses to use for slr video taking. In short... What cameras.... what lenses. What editing software... I recently downloaded a 30 day trial of sony vegas. (have not used it yet) I have the free Windows movie maker.
