You are off on your flu calculations. Even if we go by the calculations based on figures in your chart above the 2017/2018 flu season had a 61,000 / 45,000,000 = 0.13% death rate. Still far below COVID-19. And even Governor Cuomo stated very directly yesterday that based on the sampling figures COVID is still at least 8 times more deadly than the flu.
