I am not a trader. I never actually had anything to do with shares. I am an absolute newbe. I decided however to quit my good paying job and try. (I make 85K) How hard is it to become profitable? How many months of starving is required to learn? Can a newbe make a monthly profit from daytrading a leveraged equities account having 100K in it? What is my chance of success if I put all my life into that in the next 6 months? (Suppose I'm workoholic and there is little hidden talent involved)
