Have you tried the cancel/replace technique? I've outsourced the task of cancel/replace to an enterprising company situated in a third-world country. I effectively now have a whole room of people available 24/7 hitting cancel/replace on my orders all day long taking advantage of the no cancellation fee policy of ToS. These services cost me a mere $19.99/month which I normally make back on average in just one trade thanks to superior execution. I just keep giving up all of my edges here on ET. *sigh* Where will my generosity end? MoMoney.
Unfortunately I have tried said technique. I've done it so many times today that I have to scroll for a couple minutes just to find the bottom of my trade page. It seems that the MMs have the same opinion of the market that I do.
Looks like a good jobs report as far as the futures are concerned. My Aug 1295/1300 is going to go well into the red this morning I'm sure but the question is, will the market hold at the higher levels? I guess another concern is what will happen if the Fed does pause next week. Might have to bail on this one if I get a good chance.
Good day for legging out of the GS trade that is hurting me. I'll post the results when I sell the long leg.
Maybe not. It doesn't look like this market has the strength to give me the opportunity. I think I'll just wait this one out for a while longer then roll into SEP.
Finally got filled on my SPX spread for 1.20. I've got to go handle some business, so I'll update the blotter later.
