  1. You are like the King Kong of retards. So we did nothing wrong by paying black people to get us slaves. Is that what you’re stating? It was ok to rape them, have them work the fields, and beat them to death because the guy who we paid to hunt them down for us was black too. Yes a guy like you should surely give advice to other people.

  3. It depends on what you mean by "awful". Cuba for example has a much better health care system than it's neighbors. Cuba also "exports health". I understand that after the terrible earthquake in Pakistan, Cuba supplied more medical personal and they stayed longer than any other country. It also footed the bill for doing so - not bad for a poor country. If you or a member of your family are seriously ill you might well consider that delivery of health care is an important measure of the performance of an economy.

The world is a far more complicated place than just "good guys" and "bad guys". Ideologues - take note.

  4. It is hard to tell who have done more damage to Cuba's economy, Fidel or the US embargo.

I can only hope that one day the US will stop sticking it's nose in every other country. If Cuba wants to be Commie, that's Cuba's problem, the US has no right to create an embargo against them.

When they are getting Russian nukes installed 90 miles from our shores I think we do, but I agree that at this point the embargo probably does more harm than good. Infact my guess is sin embargo and US interference Castro would have been gone a long time ago.

While the idealism of communism is attractive in practice it just does not work mainly because people are not motivated by ideals in their everyday life, they are motivated by their needs and wants. The best system the earth has seen so far at being able to provide for the needs and wants of the majority that also provides so measure of freedom is socialism (ie free markets with a legitimate government strong enough to ensure that the line between market forces and public good is more or less optimally placed), essentially what we have in every delevoped nation, US included. Market forces have changed China, destroyed the Soviet Union, they would have made mince meat of Castro.

  6. The embargo came before the missile crisis.

The missile crisis began in May 1962

Yes but the Russians were crawling all over the island making preparations for the sites long before the missiles ever left the Soviet Union. US intel was pretty good and we knew what they were up to, hence the embargo before the missiles ever got there.

  8. If anyone thinks that Cuban healthcare works they are sadly misinformed.

This may be anecdotal but if you do more research you'll find Cuba looks good on paper but is terrible in reality.

The US has every right to declare an embargo on whatever it wants. Am I for it? No. But do they have the right, yes.

  9. Who gives them the right to forbid ships from a foreign nation from going into an also foreign port?

Sure, like all communist countries Cuba looks a lot better on paper than in reality.
