he once accused me of being a racist because i said that the stock loan department, which is known as a center of bribery on wall street, came from a particular ethnic group. after providing proof there was dead silence. he is of the kind who finds racism everywhere.if you can find his address send him of box of rice krispies laced with lsd. i will pay all charges,
You clearly have a lot more experience changing your assertions when they're pointed out as baseless cowhand, that's for sure. A bit ironic that it's fine for you to make up what "lefties" believe but when it hits closer to home you don't seem to like it nearly as much. Would be interested to hear you share what liberal experience led you to believe that "lefties" all supported Chavez "ad nauseum". Unless you had a brief dalliance with your college communist party, that just was never a general position of the left in the United States, let alone an "ad nauseum" position and certainly not a position today as you asserted but couldn't back up in your first post. It is, however, commonly asserted to be a position of the left on right wing media in my experience (yes, I actually read/watch right wing media) Not sure what this thing is with voices you hear in Rice Krispies, must just be you.
Take your meds. Your butt-hurt is wayy out of proportion. You should not be posting if you unravel this quickly.
Very mature and thoughtful response. Sounds like I touched a nerve. It's just too bad you chose the juvenile response rather than stopping to think about the fallacies you're basing your worldview on. Sad.
I find it funny how you Americans view Liberals as leftist/socialists. In Europe and in Australia the Liberals are more centre/right. In Australia they have a coalition with the Nationals, which is more conservative. Weren't the Dems for slavery back in the day? And the Republicans were for abolishment of slavery? Seems swapped around now.... All semantics I guess...
Populism is the only thing that has ever scared the elite. It isn't a bad idea, in fact, it might be the most utopian idea. The fact of the matter is, these despots aren't truly abiding by populistic ideals.
I can assure you that the situation in Venezuela is dire, at least for the Non Chavistas. The Chavistas live like Kings. I have countless family and friends who have reported it first hand. They are following in the footsteps of Cuba.
