  1. I use X-trader's MD trader window so every trade i enter has a limit price.

I do have a key pad programmed with chase orders and market orders. I use it though mostly to get out of losing trades.

  5. 279 x 279 = 2737.5 euro (gross) 2235 euro (net)
    $3348 U.S. (gross) $2740.5 U.S. (net)

I still didn't feel very good today so I traded a little less. I thought we would make new highs today, so I played with a long bias early on. I caught the up move then cut back my trading. It was a good thing too, becuase after the first hour and a half there really wasn't much action until the U.S.

Then like a fool I wasn't paying attention to my bloomberg when the michigan sentiment # was released so I couldn't even try to get a short off. After that I tossed around a few more trades then just called it a day.

  7. I sure do appreciate your time spent in this forum. If you were to scalp just the first 2 hrs of the DAX (my time, midnight till 02:00) would it possible to show a decent profit. Do you find that most of your profits are made within the first 2 hrs from the open?

Would it be worth it for me to study those first 2 hrs. The volatility is definatly there for the scalper.....no doubt about it.

  8. This truly shows how a scalper makes money. Avg Buy: 3878.5, Avg Sell: 3878.9, so the average profit in terms of points is only 0.4, but on 279 r/t, it all adds up. Nice journal!

  9. That average # is messed up on TT. It uses the average of a position and always rounds the position up or down depending on wether you were long or short. Then use thi to figure your avg price.

I'll post another TT shoot with the # of ticks I made.

I did 279 x279 and pulled out 219 ticks thate averages out to .78 pts. per contract today.
