  1. My dad bought me a one year subscription as a kid. I read that thing religiously - they had like weekly publications coming via mail. Loved it. But I don't ever remember it being particularly worthwhile. Thoughts on this service? I suspect my dad wasted his money haha.
     
  2. Value Line can a good resource if you have limited time. However, for more depth of information, read annual reports and go over product or service reviews.

    Some of their analysis are decent and are aware of various industry metrics and drivers.

    One could use this service to help construct a portfolio that is relatively market neutral by buying timely stocks and shorting untimely stocks with similar betas.

    By combining solid fundamental information with timing that technical analysis can provide, you may be able to outperform the market.
