Yeah a foreign student that's going to learn everything and then go back to serve his/her own country or worse steal all of the technology to bring back to his/her origin country. Yeah great idea indeed. I don't mind going to another country. I am a trader. I can survive anywhere.
is 98% of what you just posted. Giving you the benefit of the doubt on the other 2%. Have fun being ignorant. Bye.
This chart is comically misleading. 90% of the "immigrant founders" on the list were from Europe, many arrived 100 years ago or more. Seriously, it includes companies such as Disney (Walt was the son of Canadian immigrants) Verizon (Alexander Graham Bell) and Bank of America (founded by an Italian in the early 1900s). Almost none of the fortune 500 were founded by the post-1965 Third World tsunami.
But I don't even mind the diversity really but the problem is we are not necessarily getting the people that we need, rather people that can really be replaced by robotics and cultivated by just improving our education. All those "quality" immigrants mostly came from countries with high-quality education programs so why can't we just have that in the USA? Instead of spending on importing people, why can't we just spend on educating our own existing citizens instead??!!! You are going to spend either way, why not spend on our own people??!! I just don't see the necessity of immigration aside from all the problems associated with it. Buy Local, spend Local!!!
Yeah from LONG time ago when they were truly the "poor, the weary and the huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore and the homeless, tempest-tost..." My ancestors were truly homeless and were really yearning to brethe free exactly as described by that poem on the Statue of Liberty when they came to USA, not like your treasured "foreign student" today. LOL
That's misleading. Unless you are a Native Indian, everybody is an immigrant according to today's definition.
