  1. Today I read about a small old fashioned post office that's closing. You know, the one in the hamlet, part of a store, no mail carriers work out of there. The only employee is a post mistress.

Yuppers it's closing in January. On the flip side, it generates a 40k profit.

Sounds about right. start by closing the profitable PO"s. Get those lazy ass postal patrons to stop walking to the po and get into their car and drive a mile to the next one.

  2. Once you realize the dead weight of the Unions has their fingerprints all over this mess, what you just said makes all the sense in the world.

  3. In its monthly report to Congress, the Treasury Department now says it expects to lose $23.6 billion, up from its previous estimate of $14.33 billion.

    From The Detroit News: http://detnews.com/article/20111114/AUTO01/111140434/U.S.-boosts-estimate-of-auto-bailout-losses-to-$23.6B#ixzz1dumnvpHh---

This country is beyond fucked. Jim Rogers has is it right, get the fuck out. However, I believe Texas is a safe haven, guns, gold, land, and a stronger economy than most, oh yea OIL! Plenty of jobs here.

GM losses ...now into the 23.billion mark, on our backs...out tax money gone. Post office gone.

How can anyone really believe that things in the US are gona get better?

This country is toast as a whole.
