Lately the Reuters end of day data has been horrendously slow and there are numerous company name errors, etc. I'm getting sick of this nightly 10-15 minutes (on a cable connection) seance to get data updates. I pull about 2,000 symbols from Reuters. I was thinking of firing up my old TC2000 account just to get the data, then port it over to metastock using the downloader. Question is, is this a song and dance using the downloader for the conversion or can it be done quickly, assuming I have my stocks data in 4 separate folders?
