I find that using protective stops are helpful but sometimes, when I try to bottom fish, I put in a limit buy order 12c from the low of the day with the stop on the low of the day. I get filled, and the specialist spread it down 25c lower printed a new low on a minimal print, stop me out and take the stock back out. I am not saying that this happens all the time, but I would like to hear some opinions on using protective stops when bottom fishing. FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME! STOCKKBROKER
