Simply, if you call your credit card company and all they ask is your name, mother's maiden name and date of birth...

Your at high risk to any amateur identity thief.

Last of all, check your credit report once per year for any unusual activity especially since your entitled to one free credit report disclosure every 12 months.

I think this may have happened to me a few years ago. I had just gotten a new bank card, and the only place I had used it was for a sponsorship on ET and @ a resturaunt in Sarasota. When Baron went to bill me the account was empty, seems my card up and went to Spain without me.

I agree that NihabaAshi is a little paranoid, but I'd probably be the same if I'd gone thru what he has.

Don't wear a money clip though, or a belt clip for your cell phone. When you go to the toilet in a public restroom, those can slide off of your belt. It's happened to me.
