Using IB, Check your executions!

  1. To all IB clients:
I executed a trade just a few minutes ago (IB had sent out a message indicating that Globex was unavailable for trading) to test the system. Just a little scalp. Sold 2 June ES at 1118 even, then turned around to buy (to close the position) at 1117.75 for a profit of .25 x 2 or $25.00. Checking my screen, I see that the trade is registered as a -$25.00 loser!!! I then looked at my executions and found that I was correctly executed (the trade was filled as I thought, no fat finger problems). So I called IB and was told they have a problem with there display of trades. I was "assured" they would fix it. Anyway, If you are trading with IB, make sure to verify your screens and your trades so you avoid an unpleasant surprise at the end of the day. Too bad we have to go through this crap (again). 2. have u lost connectivity often today with IB?

  3. Just one disconnect. I had to shut down and restart.

  4. Remember to check those screens folks. IB is back to their old "its not us" routine.
