Using Fair Value PREMs to trade the ES

Discussion in 'Index Futures' started by commanderco, Sep 28, 2006.

  1. Well you have given me some food for thought, I will call HL Camp with some questions.

My reservation in trading is always to be very careful as to the information I add.

Including the daily PREMs is no problem, but whether the 5 min prognosis is original to me or whether I am already looking at it at the T & S gate remains to be seen and I would be grateful for comments.

Also,I notice a slight difference in values between Index Arb and HL Camp, presumeably arising from differing inputs.

Do let us know which is better Index Arb or HL Camp when you have finished your investigation. Thanks

  4. There is always a difference between "long money" and "short money" when constructing valuation models. You're either "losing interest" by performing the strategy (long money), or you're paying interest for use of someone else's money (short money)...different rates of course. I post both index arb and programtrading rates, and use a combination.

  5. I am curious as to the reputation of HL Camp regarding the quality of research on the paid subscription service.

I was thinking of subscribing to it for 2000.00 quarter, for the oex stock service, but would like to hear from someone who may have found it useful.

    Thanks for any help.
