    Hi,

Can someone please post a 1minute chart(whole day) for the ES please?

I want to compare it SPY. I am trying to use AHG on SPY, but it doesn't seem to be working. Someone following AHG, could you look at the comments on the chart and possibly comment.

SPY spikes a lot in the opposite direction quite a bit. And volatility is quite high so stops have to be bigger (opposite of AHG). I mean it moves 20-30 cents.

The spikes towards the upside today gave no indication or signal.

look at the chart. i think i will stick to stocks which r smoother and less volatile(not range) than the SPY. Unless ES or NQ is better than SPY, I don't think the move will happen.

Or am I doing something wrong?

I will say this. If you haven't traded much, you should really avoid things like ES and SPY. Instead, just pick out a handful of stocks with good range (relative to price) and vol. and just watch those. A lot of these cheap stocks have some really good moves that you get in on without risking much. More often than not, I get my ass kicked when I trade ES :D

If you really want to trade a SIF, then look at NQ.

    Here's some ideas:

UAUA and CAL (just watch oil when you trade these)

AIG, ABK, FNM, FRE (don't hold overnight unless you're hedged....lots of news on these)

STLD, ZEUS (trend to rally with commodities)
