A girl at uni gave me this nickname (I gave her something else in return ). Never knew if there was any link between Mickey Mouse (and she could not spell) and my performance in bed.
As a child ,my older brother yelled,in a mean way,''You move like a turtle, hurry u p'' I felt insulted, never did like it. However when read something like Jack Schwager found it amusing ,that actually it was a good nickname for trading[thought stocks],I was amused............................Thought about a good nickname, that was helpful, and amusing;it sticks, and helps.
I got so drunk I dared the Spanish police to a duel. The next morning people asked me how I felt, I said like a "Pitufo Verde", or a green smurf, since smurfs are normally blue, a green one had to be super sick. Pitufo, which is Spanish for smurf, just stuck stayed around a fun word.
Vad, I always assumed that your name came from your uncanny ability to find short term trades often when there seemed to be none.....ie it was if you had "three eyes" scanning the market while the rest of us only had two! I am sure that is where your name came from you just must have forgotten.
I guess mine should be pretty obvious since it's just my first name and last initial. I pretty much use the same handle on a variety of forums I visit, in case any sees it in those places.
The first two initials are for the college I attend(ed, come May), Monmouth University in New Jersey. And my first name is Chris.
'Pitufo' wins for best name, so far. hard to compete with a green smurf. 'Kestrel' should be easy- a small oldworld falcon. Hovers in the air, often over or near the ocean, waiting to strike. Observant, solid, steady, small and constant predator. So 'Pitufo', what sort of duel did you challenge to the police? My girlfriend wants to know. -Kestrel-
