Many years ago I was signing up for something online and was asked for a username. I started to type randomly and came up with "Klaor". I liked the look of it (the "ao" gives a Middle Age feel), tacked on "man" and Klaorman has been my username for everything since.
Yannis is my name (John) in Greek. I was born in Greece, but have lived most of my life here. Still, I like that name
Given by Polish friends in Istanbul's refugee camp since I was the only Czech there at that time (Cesko= Czech Republic)
It was my favorite restaurant at the time and I was going there to meet up with my wife when I was picking a name. I didn't dare be late and couldn't spend long trying to come up with a clever name. ~EC
