User Names On Elitetrader (a fun thread)

Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. This handle reminded me daily over the last 4 years not to get hooked in worthless bubble stocks. Unfortunetely, they all seem to be going to zero.

 

I wish my screen name was because I was a chiropractor.

It stems from breaking my back twice.

Well it is isn't it? CNBC are always urging us to storm the next hill.. ravage the next settlement... set sail for the next fiery conquest...

Axehawk, when I first lurked this website, I thought your ID meant you where picking off the NASDAQ Ax's. Intimidated the heck out of me.

 

Actually, I have always thought of the short term traders(especially in the index futures) as a group of vultures just picking at the scraps in between the bigger moves...Hence, I named my sole proprietorship Vulture Trading in honor of the ugly bird that descends on the markets and picks at the scraps...

 

My nick comes from the name of the bitter, jaded, protagonist/hero from the classic sci-fi film, "Escape from New York". However, I have no plans to rescue our current president.
