Sounds like such a stressful life to me, suspecting spies and private information leakage behind each and every corner. Your and my and 99% lives are really not that interesting that an ill intentioned actor might go out of their way to obtain information. Are you telling us you also stay far away from cloud storage, Gmail, and any and all apps on mobile devices that store settings and other preferences in the cloud (because virtually all apps do that)? Good that we all have choices. Virtually the only machines I run Linux on are mission critical cloud machines on which I run trading algorithms. For everything else I choose convenience and ease of use over disconnected OS. All my research happens on Windows machines and so far the past 23 years have proven it works just fine.
