    does anyone know how much interest do the countries pay when they borrow from IMF and other financial bodies in business of lending to countries. is it true that these loans are at very little like 1/2 to 1% rates not even catching with the inflation.

    They lent to Greece with a 3 percent rate that rises to 4 percent after a certain time. They also have a 1/2 percentage charge for drawing.
