There is a speed difference between Chrome and the explorer. Chrome is also a more secure program and more thought out in general.

That small time savings really makes it worth while when you continually surf the net for different things.

 

make sure you use the porn mode.

 

1. You might want to read Google's terms and conditions ... think about privacy. I'm running a copy of chrome from curiosity but its compiled from the OS code and misses out some of Googles stuff (not enough i suspect).

2. Until it has Adblock Plus it's an advertisers dream.


Firefox is still the best.

The security "draconian rights" issue with chrome may be about to disappear:

“In order to keep things simple for our users, we try to use the same set of legal terms (our Universal Terms of Service) for many of our products. Sometimes, as in the case of Google Chrome, this means that the legal terms for a specific product may include terms that don’t apply well to the use of that product. We are working quickly to remove language from Section 11 of the current Google Chrome terms of service. This change will apply retroactively to all users who have downloaded Google Chrome.”

 

Interesting.

 

I suspected the OS code would be different than the compiled GOOG download that does all sorts of things automatically behind the curtain.
