Critical by-election this weekend, Wentworth, a seat abandoned by Turnbull who got tossed out of the Australian Priministership. If Wentworth goes from Liberal hands (expected) then gummint here is going to struggle as it will no longer hold majority in parliament. Results will be out Sunday.
Still a slow motion move down in Aussie. Currently short usdjpy just above 112, short Euro a second time from 114.06. Had been short from higher last night, closed out just under 114. Not real sure about this one, but Japan down 3 percent, so I'll stay with risk off.
Short Euro 1.1353, Aussie .7092. I sense the potential for panic in the markets, given the backdrop. The real economy in the US has weakened considerably, seemingly out of nowhere. Watching Usdjpy.
