I don't mind being in position with those smaller news events, price just normally goes with the order flow, any major ones I'm out
Yeah, I was aware of that. But it almost seems like the prevailing view now. Theres been some signs of selling in lesser currencies. I mean, dollar ended up flat, not up today. More questions than answers for me.
Just like to point out that the dollar is down now in Asia, and it's not a retracement from an up move. It's had many chances recently, failure at 1.1730 EUR on of them. Aussie, Nzd too. Something just isn't right.
What charts are you reading? It’s pretty much doing nothing. Maybe a little bit of a bullish posture. (Not confronting, just bewildered by this comment.. maybe I can learn something)
This will be the long term view... Over the next few months.. The euro may correct higher even, run a few more stops
Well it was earlier, in the very short tf. Also, in retrospect it appears I've been seeing things which weren't necessarily there all day. I'm going to blame being tired, and rusty from not trading. Yes, you're right, it's still flat.
Ahh ok. We are at an inflection w/ gold and usd. I’m trying to be a smidge early so I’m long right now (really the stop is an eyelash away.. mid 1280’s). *shrug* We’ll see. I prefer to have a line out there as for some strange reason I can read the tea leaves better when I’m in the game. Does this happen to anyone else? Reminisces has a reference to this where some trade Livermore’s trading buddies would be asked- I’m thinking long xxx. What do you think? And the guys response was something to the effect of, I don’t know, I’d have to be in the trade to give an opinion.
