Does anyone know of a device with a USB splitter that allows toggling between computers. Wow, that was confusing so here goes again. I want to use a single USB bluetooth keyboard/mouse set for both my desktop and my laptop. I realize there are software programs that allow this, but I don't want to network the computers together. I want to be able to plug the blue tooth receiver into the USB port that splits to two additional USB cables, one for each machine. Then I want the ability to eaily select which machine the signal is routed to and switch back and forth quickly. Anyone know of anything?
I finally found what I was looking for. Anyone have any recommendations as far as brand in concerned? http://sewelldirect.com/USB/Switches
USB driven monitors are coming on the scene. http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/other/display/samsung-sm940ux.html A USB switch controllable from the screen with a mouse will be a great solution to the multiple computers-single set of monitors/keyboard/mouse problem.
Actually Delkin has nice devices that work with VGA monitors as well as USB keyboards. This allows you to switch monitors/keyboards from one PC to another. I can't use this because I want one monitor to be displaying my trade platform running on one comp while other monitors allow me to work still.
what your looking for is called a KVM switch, something like this for example http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Sate...nksys/Common/VisitorWrapper&lid=0807645678B01
