Current stats are that 1/3 of those eligible to vote, don't. Of the remaining population, that 66% is divided roughly in thirds; right, left, independent.

In reality, DT persuaded a little over 2/9's of the U.S. population that he was a better candidate, hardly a majority nor mandate.

    Great reference, thanks for posting

On another note, enjoyed Taylor Sheridan’s Landman with Billy Bob Thornton.

Can't see post# 1, if it is mentioned, but farmers will also be wanting a bailout because of some export markets (particularly China) being hit with ag tariffs making them less competitive.

Farm Aid III or is IV or V?

Anyway $60 billion current expected price tag - for a start.

Also 2/3 of all food imports come from Mexico and that's not just Avocados.

So sky-high Egg prices will have "friends".

  8. Most americans dont realize how very very non-capitalist our country has become..for many years now. Massive printed fiat money pouring into social and subsidies and propping pretty much all of our industries completely. You bring in a president whom doesnt believe in this and start slashing..you see how massive the props and subsidies were.

Wall Street depends greatly on Gov printed Fiat assistance. Insurance companies try the fear inducing statements.. ''we cant pay claims''. Mortgage industry is completely dependent upon Freddy Mac. Auto industry completely dependent on ultra cheap foreign steel dumping and ultra cheap foreign labor. Boeing seems to need to be completely taken over by the US Gov in order to survive. SpaceX depends on massive NASA contracts.

When subprime is invented, people are robbed, banks fail..the US needs to Prop the entire financial system.

When chips cant be fabricated in USA..US Gov must ''come in'' and give trillion in subsidies.

When our Tech can no longer compete internationally..all other competing Tech is banned.

Left out .... "You bring in a president .... who believes in protectionism via tariffs and other threats to protect American workers wink, wink companies that his billionaire buddies run.

He cares more about himself first and foremost - and then the Dow, S&P and Nasdaq (in that reverse importance lol) way more than workers pay or standard of living.
