    well. China death rate is virtually zero.
    So for Trump to compete and win the data battle, death rate has to be negative (like crude oil price).
    I think that should be easily done compare with say Wirecard missing billions.

    Yeah, I remember those daily briefings. In a few, Cuomo question why the President has not invoke that act.

    Eventually, President Trump did invoke it but I don't know how many days or weeks went by before he finally did it. Yet, I do know President Trump then gave a live TV conference about invoking that act.

    Regardless, they all made it a clusterfuck and it still happening. That's the crazy part, they're still screwing up while the flu season gets closer and closer...setting up for that infamous 2nd wave for the Covid-19.

    Hopefully, the 2nd wave, they'll be better prepared and have a new President voted in to allow congress to properly get ready via making national mandates and become an advocate for being socially responsible during a Pandemic in comparison to the current circus.

    Your claim is highly misleading. As far as Fauci is concerned,

    "Speaking on TheStreet, Fauci discusses how effective face masks are at preventing COVID-19 infection and why they weren’t recommended from the start. "Masks are not 100 percent protective. However, they certainly are better than not wearing a mask. Both to prevent you, if you happen to be a person who maybe feels well, but has an asymptomatic infection that you don't even know about, to prevent you from infecting someone else," Fauci said.

    "But also, it can protect you a certain degree, not a hundred percent, in protecting you from getting infected from someone who, either is breathing, or coughing, or sneezing, or singing or whatever it is in which the droplets or the aerosols go out. So masks work,” Fauci added.

    “The important thing is actually physical separation,” Fauci said, adding that the combination of social distancing and face masks is the best way for the public to mitigate the spread and reduce transmission while maintaining some normalcy by venturing in public."

    FWIW,

    Just now
    @senatemajldr
    brought up #Fauci as the source of the best advice at the start of the pandemic. I asked his level of confidence in him now. He replied with one word: “Total.” #KySen

    We knew what to do from day one, how to proceed to defeat the virus. We had already done that with SARS. But we ruined our chances by doing nothing about a much more insidious enemy than any virus, our mentally ill President, "the most dangerous man in America."

    Mods, maybe move this over to the politics forum because clearly this isn’t an economics issue anymore

    The covid-19 virus has a huge impact on economics. Maybe we can discuss that instead of finding the person responsible for the disastrous way the virus was attacked.

    Attacking the virus or the lack of is definitely an economic issue. It’s the reason it wasn’t attacked correctly.
