You might be interested in the Technical Analysts Society. You don't need to be a TA per se, just in an interest in trading. There's is some basic info on the website www.tashk.com.hk

It's a good meeting place for traders, and we get some good speakers. Last month Victor Sperandeo (Trader Vic) addressed the society. Next week Alexander Elder will be speaking.

There's also a group of options traders which regularly meet up, check www.wetradeoptions.com for info.

Would be great, if a group of us can share a residential apartment with proper internet connection (cable + DSL) etc..

 

So far based in HK, gonna move to china eventually.

is cable/dsl enough for trading US ?

 

Cable/dsl is more than enough in HK.

 

is one better than the other? Most people give preference to cable in the US...
