The smart money does not follow every Tweet, Bloomberg or CNBC. They know better! Sara Eisen a week ago was blasting President Donald Trump for asking the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates. Then, just 2 days ago, was whooping it up after colleague Jim Cramer asked the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates? Unbelievable!
So what. These people got fired and ate now butt hurt. This is how you run a tight ship. The same way he succeeded in biz entertainment and politics.
why is he firing "the best people" though? Is he a terrible manager hat can't hire the best or so thin skinned that can't handle push back from the best?
who knows... and doesn't matter. just like in trading, how do you keep score - it's the account balance. in biz - it's profit and net worth; guy made billions in entertainment - it's the show ratings; 'The Apprentice'. in politics - it's the won campaign; guy run 1 political campaign and he won... highest office in the world; in governing - it's the GDP growth - and the stock market as a fairly close proxy, up 50% since election... and numerous stats on labor participation rate and unemployment rate and wage growth. all else is really just distractions.
Factually, Trump inherited $800MM in (mostly) NYC burrough RE when Fred Trump died. Dude lost >one billion in losses on operations, not depreesh. He's a fraud like dozu. Just an issue of magnitude.
