    Yes, no background, no voice inflection, no facial expression. Since you spend much time here, I assume there are some who know you and your outlook. However I am not one of them, as I only stop by occasionally.

    Indeed, it takes time for infrequent members of a community to get the feel of frequent members of said community. El 85 knew something was awry, as you can see in his response.

    Just want to clarify that tariffs are paid by the consumer if he buys Chinese goods. There are similar products made by other countries so, if you do not buy Chinese goods, you would not be paying any tariffs. Tariffs also, raise the cost of Chinese goods making similar goods made by other Asian countries cheaper and probably, of better quality too. As tariffs rise, the pressure on Chinese suppliers to eat the cost of the tariffs go up as well as Target just demanded of Chinese suppliers. In this case, those Chinese suppliers would eat the cost of the tariffs so, be paying US tariffs if they want to keep US companies ordering their products.

    Grown locally in Australia with 77,000 tonnes produced last year. QLD is the major producing state with 47,000 tonnes harvested.
    I have been growing some in buckets at home from seed and selling for $25 each. I find them a bit tricky to germinate but that's prolly because our location is near the sea, salt spray drift.
    Here's one here. (The 3 buckets directly behind are pink guava which I germinated from seed - sold about 20 of them recently)
    I buy cheap buckets for $1 ea, drill holes in bottom, they make good planters.

    folks.. need to use logic for trading.

    new high made in July, after the first round of tariff;
    about to make new high soon, after the 2nd of tariff;

    what is the market saying here? such an obvious answer if you can't get, might as well quit right now.

    and by the way I have seen people yelling 'Trump is f moron'? please don't do this... you sound like DeNiro with middle school education and lose yourself all the street credit and basically are putting a MORON label on your own forehead.

    Looks like you might have a hobby that might turn into a very lucrative business down the line!
    And if avocados cost $2.00 each in Australia, you got a gold mine there!
