US spending

  1. We are paying for the rebuilding of mosques at close to a billion dollars...at the (YOU) tax payer's hand in order to BUY security in the Middle East. The same people who danced in the streets on September 11th, 2001. Do you think they are thanking or laughing at us? Current US debt: $14,198,638,214,718.60...would this be considered a GOOD "investment?"

  2. Doubt it.

It might be a good investment if the money for the mosque were donated by Southern Baptist preachers and their followers...then it might have an actual meaning of a move toward tolerance by Americans of other belief systems...

We preach that we were founded on the principle of religious freedom, but other religions look to our actions, and see that there is a huge gap between our rap and our act.

  3. Talk about bang for your buck.

Bin Laden & Company allegedly spent < $200K engaging in a single act of war that arguably caused the economic collapse and ruin of the US.

They have no need to engage in any other battles as we are doing a fine job imploding on our own.

Before the September 11, 2001 attacks, the Bush administration projected in the 2002 budget that there would be a $1.288 trillion surplus from 2001 through 2004.

Instead our debt is now $30k per American and our way of life has changed forever.

  4. Lucrum

    Lucrum

    Laughing at our stupidity.

  5. Too bad our leaders aren't smart enough to see it.

Then again.... could be we're doing what was planned all along... and there is a whole 'nother layer of deception which we don't see.

  6. What would the layer of deception be?
